School class during a photo session
For schools and kindergartens

A photo day that costs the school no work

I photograph every child individually, plus every class and the teaching staff. After 72 hours the photos are online — every child gets its own QR code and parents order directly. Class photos and staff pictures are free for the school.

How it works

From photo day to finished folder

Five steps, of which the school handles exactly one: the appointment.

  1. Step 1

    Arrange a date

We agree on a morning. I need a room with a little space and a power socket — I bring the lighting and backdrop.

  2. Step 2

    The photo day

Classes come one after another. I allow around two minutes per child, so a class takes about 30 minutes. Lessons carry on.

  3. Step 3

    Online 72 hours later

I sort, edit and publish the photos. Every child receives a card with its personal QR code to take home.

  4. Step 4

    Parents order themselves

One scan opens that child's photos — and only those. Ordering happens right there: no cash in school bags, no sign-up list in the office.

  5. Step 5

    Delivery to the school

Once the deadline passes I send everything to the lab as a single order and deliver the finished folders sorted by class. Anyone who prefers digital downloads straight away.

Free for the school

What costs nothing

Three things I provide to the school without an invoice — for me they are simply part of the photo day.

Class photos

Every class gets its group photo as a file — for the yearbook, the school chronicle and the website, at no extra cost.

Staff portraits

A clean portrait of every teacher, usable for the website, noticeboards and staff passes.

The team photo

One picture of the whole teaching staff — the classic for the entrance hall and the annual report.

For parents

One code, for your child only

No collection envelope, no cash, no list in the school office.

Personal access

Every child gets a card with name, class and QR code. Whoever scans it sees exclusively that child's photos.

Choose in peace

All shots side by side, full size. It is easier to decide at the kitchen table than in a hallway.

No obligation to buy

If you order nothing, you order nothing. There is no minimum, no prepayment and nothing to send back.

Deleted afterwards

Once the deadline passes the photos go offline again. Pictures of children do not stay on the internet indefinitely.

If your child received a card with an access code, this is the way to the photos.

Frequently asked questions

What head teachers and parent associations ask me most often.

What does the photo day cost the school?

Nothing. I come at my own expense. Class photos, staff portraits and the team photo are provided free of charge. Payment comes exclusively from parents who order something — and only then.

How much lesson time does it take?

Around two minutes per child, about half an hour per class including the group photo. Classes come one after another and the rest of the timetable runs as normal.

What about children who may not be photographed?

They simply stay out of the picture. Tell me in advance which children are affected and I will not place them in the class photo. No photo is taken without parental consent.

Who can see my child's photos?

Only whoever holds that child's QR code. There is no public overview, no search by name and no link showing all children. The photos are not findable through search engines either.

What happens to the photos afterwards?

After the deadline I take them offline and delete them. I do not use pupils' photos for advertising, my portfolio or social media — not even anonymised.

What if a child is ill on the photo day?

At larger schools I return for a make-up session. For smaller groups we will find a solution — just let me know.

How long do parents have to order?

Usually two weeks from the day the photos go online. The deadline is printed on the card and shown in the ordering view. After that I send everything to the lab in one batch.

Do we get printed photos as well?

Yes. After the deadline I deliver the orders to the school, sorted by class. Anyone who does not want to wait chooses the digital package and downloads immediately.
