Why original sound
Sound is half the film
A wedding film with music underneath is a music video. A wedding film with your real voices is a memory. That's why I always record sound redundantly: a wireless mic on the groom, a recorder at the lectern and room tone.
Your vows
Fully intelligible, not buried under music. This is the sequence couples rewatch most often.
The speeches
Witnesses, parents, celebrant - recorded clearly instead of from ten metres away on a camera mic.
The room
Applause, clinking glasses, laughter. The sound that turns a sequence of images into an atmosphere.

Honestly
When one person is enough - and when not
Photo and film from one hand means one plan, one style, one point of contact - and one person who gets in the way less than a team. That works well for compact and mid-sized schedules. It does not work when two important things happen at once: getting ready in two locations, or when you want the ceremony filmed from two angles simultaneously. In those cases I recommend a second operator - and I say so in the pre-call, not afterwards.

From enquiry to finished film
Pre-call
We clarify style, musical direction, how present the camera may be and which moments matter most to you.
On the wedding day
Documentary, without direction. Sound runs with multiple backups - a mic failure must not cost you your vows.
Editing
Selection, colour grading, sound mix and licensed music. You get one round of revisions for fine adjustments.
Delivery
The finished film within four weeks, digitally, ready to download and share.
